Meng Zi Yi was born on December 5, 1995 in Changchun, Jilin, China, is a Chinese actress. She graduated from Beijing Film Academy.

In 2014, Meng Zi Yi debuted in the historical romance drama God of War, Zhao Yun, playing the character Shi Yan. Following which, she signed with Zhejiang Yongle Entertainment. In 2015, she participated in the war drama Zhan Shen Zhi Xue Ran De Qing Chun, playing a villain.

In 2016, Meng Zi Yi participated in the psychological crime drama Ren Min Jian Cha Guan. In August, she starred in the romantic drama What and what a cool summer. The same year, she starred as Mu Nianci in the wuxia drama The Legend of the Condor Heroes 2017.
